The SMC has been working in close collaboration with UNESCO to produce Seychelles Creole social media adverts. This is in the lead up of the 10th anniversary of World Radio Day and the more than 110 years since the radio was invented.

The World Radio Day 2021 themes for this year have been divided into three main sub-themes:

EVOLUTION: The world changes, radio evolves.

INNOVATION:  The world changes, radio adapts and innovate.

CONNECTION: The world changes, radio connects.

The SMC partnered with the local Creole Institute to get the right translations of the themes, which were already translated into English and French.

The social media adverts will be posted on the SMC Facebook page leading up to World Radio Day which falls on the 13th of February.
